Telegram announced its latest update which offers a set of major releases from the company, but one of the most notable is the Transcriptions available for video and voice messages. Through this, users may click an icon to turn the spoken words into readable text, called the Voice-to-Text feature, offering improved accessibility for people who need it.

Voice-to-Text was made available to the platform back in 2022, but it was exclusive to Telegram Premium subscribers only, but now it moved to Free access.

However, there is a catch to this transcription feature, as it would only allow Free users to turn media messages into text for up to 2 per week.

Still, Premium users may use Voice-to-Text conversions without a limit.

New Features on the Telegram iOS, Android

There are new features in this major Telegram update that provide new experiences for users, with the first centering on Similar Channels which offers suggestions whenever joining a new one.

Also, users may add Video Messages to their stories that can add additional context to their posts, alongside Profile Colors to set for a certain user, Wallpapers for both users, Story Stats for Channels, Custom Reactions for Channels, Code Highlighting in Messages, Improvements for Topics, and Thanos Snap Effects for auto-deleted messages.

Telegram and What it Has to Offer

Earlier this year, Telegram announced the chance for developers to create Mini Apps on the platform, and it will offer users a chance to experience more in the platform via these new experiences. Third-party developers will get to create highly flexible interfaces using JavaScript, and this will help deliver new Mini Apps within Telegram to access different needs.

Also, the company delivered Telegram Stories for all to enjoy also this year, and it is free access for all after the company tested out the features when it first released to its Premium-subscribed users. More recently, Telegram also allowed users to repost the stories tagged to their account on the platform, much like how it is for Facebook and Instagram.

There are many instant messaging apps available from different companies, but Telegram is among the noteworthy ones to enjoy their long list of features and experiences right on the app. The latest tool to use is the transcriptions to turn your video and voice messages readable, offering a massive help for those that need it, now available alongside other new features.
