Massive rumors have claimed that Nintendo is already working on its next-gen console, dubbed Switch 2, and now, new claims further fuel the fire citing that Capcom is already developing a game for it. Fans and enthusiasts have been talking about the Nintendo Switch 2 widely online, with many speculating on what it will soon bring, especially with what it has to offer the world.
Nintendo is yet to confirm or reveal anything about the Switch 2, particularly as the company is best known for its secrecy until it arrives, ready for its unveiling.
Nintendo Switch 2: New Game is Coming from CAPCOM
A discussion over at Famiboards has allegedly claimed that the Switch NG (next-generation), a.k.a. the Switch 2, will soon feature a game that CAPCOM will develop. A user called "Necroclipe" has joined in this discussion to confirm the rumors that other users have talked about, a new "Monster Hunter" game coming to the new Nintendo Switch.
Other users were skeptical and showed their disbelief at a new Monster Hunter game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, particularly as most games "favor" Xbox or PlayStation consoles.
It remains unknown whether Nintendo is already developing the Switch 2, or will there ever be one, especially as there are already three versions of the handheld console namely the V1, V2, and the OLED.

What is CAPCOM Developing for Switch 2?
According to ComicBook Gaming, CAPCOM was said to be developing a mainline game for its MH franchise for the Switch 2, particularly the Monster Hunter 6.
Before this, CAPCOM developed specific games for the Nintendo Switch platform, namely the Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and the Monster Hunter Rise. MH World was not released here because of the hardware's limitations, but it was known that CAPCOM also previously developed dedicated games for Nintendo in the past.

Switch 2: The Next-Gen Console
Various leaks and rumors have addressed an upcoming device from Nintendo, saying that it could arrive by as early as April 2024, launching the next-generation console of the company. To date, Nintendo's Switch V1 (the original one) was released last 2017, and it was subsequently followed two years later with the V2 in 2019, and lastly, the Switch OLED in 2021.
The two-year increments to Nintendo's release date have also played a role for speculators to consider, with the original Switch already six years old now. In the gaming industry, there are seven years before a new-gen console is released, and 2024 is the right time for Switch 2, previously evidenced by the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X.
A previous leak from the Nintendo Switch 2 also claimed that it would be called the "Nintendo Focus," a device that would also have VR capabilities.
For now, Switch 2 remains unknown if it is real or a hoax, as well as the alleged games that are already under development for the next-gen console, with CAPCOM to bring its new Monster Hunter here.
