Arrow: Suicide Squad Returning in Episode 18 - New Member in Cupid

Warner Bros. is currently working on making its Suicide Squad movie a reality, but after Tom Hardy stepped down from the Rick Flag role, things haven't been going according to plan for the studio. However, that is not stopping the TV version of the squad from kicking some serious butt.

Those who are fans of the Suicide Squad in the Arrow universe should feel excited right now after it was confirmed that the team would return again for action in episode 18. The episode will be called "Suicidal Tendencies" and it is expected to bring forth a new member, along with dropping one of the old.

The new member in question is no other than Cupid, the mad female archer who has an unhealthy attraction to Oliver Queen. We always wondered to ourselves when the team would get its own archer, it now appears as if that time has come.

Which member of the team won't be returning?

It is no other than Bronze Tiger, played by Michael Jai White. While the Bronze Tiger will be missed, the character not being there should not affect the episode at all. Michael Jai White did not bring anything interesting to the character. By far, Cupid, played by Amy Gumenick, is a better replacement.

At the moment, we can't tell what or who the squad will be after, but there's a chance it could be Slade Wilson. We've come to understand that Slade will make a return in episode 14, but we are not yet certain if he'll return to his plan of slaughtering innocent people.

We'd love to see how he reacts after finding out that Oliver passed away. Interestingly enough, it would be great to find out that Slade Wilson will become a member of the Suicide Squad, but we doubt that would happen. We believe the Deathstroke character works best when he's not tied down to a team.

What we are more interested in, however, is Harley Quinn finally making a full appearance. It's been a long time coming; it is now time for the Arrow writers to give fans what they want.
