Madonna Sings Praises for Taylor Swift: Calls her the Princess of Pop

The queen of pop, Madonna, is a sure fire fan of Taylor Swift's music. She's such a huge fan that she went as far as to crown the young singer the princess of pop. We're guessing this hasn't gone down well with Britney Spears, since she is known as the princess of pop.

According to Madonna, she is in love with Taylor Swift's music. Due to them being catchy, she can't get them out of her head.

"It's good to have princesses [of pop]. It means there's lots of pretty dresses around," says Madonna. "I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. I can't get them out of my head."

That's a huge compliment coming from the queen herself, and she is not known as a person who goes around throwing compliments to other musicians.

Obviously, the crowned princess of pop, Taylor Swift, heard about what Madonna had said, and right away took to Tumblr to give her thanks in a very subtle and funny manner.

"Thanks, now I'm dead," says Swift.

This should be a huge boost for Swift and her music career, and we wouldn't be too surprised if both her and Madonna team up to make music together. Let's face it, this is going to happen, and it will benefit both singers greatly, one more than the other.

Over the past couple of years, Madonna has come under fire from several groups that have labeled her as a singer who is fighting her age. This is because the queen of pop usually goes out in skimpy clothing in an alleged attempt ring back the glory days of old.

She's not the only one, but the singer has garnered the majority of such criticisms.

Taylor Swift in the past spoke out against such labeling, but it did nothing to stop folks from throwing their words at Madonna and other female singers in the industry who have grown older.

In our mind, Madonna isn't as attractive as she was in the past, but at the end of the day, she is a free woman, and free to express herself.
