The Vivo V29e is set to be launched specifically in the Indian market on August 28, but before the official launch, leaks emerged online and revealed its different colors, designs, and other specifications, showing what buyers can expect from the smartphone.
The Vivo V29e Comes With Two Storage Options but Only With One RAM Choice
According to Live Mint, a new report on The Techoutlook has revealed more details about the upcoming device's pricing and storage. So far, it has been revealed that the smartphone would come with two different storage options.
Its very first variant will come out with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Since the first launch will be in India, it will reportedly be priced at Rs. 26,999 or around $327.
The second option buyers can choose is the 8GB of RAM with a larger 256 GB storage capacity. According to the article, this smartphone option could cost buyers a little more or at a price of Rs. 28,999 or $351.
The Smartphone Comes With a 120 Hz Refresh Rate Along with a 3D Curved Screen Display
According to other media reports, it is being circulated that the Vivo V29e would come with a 120Hz refresh rate on a 3D curved screen display. The device would also be released with its very own punch hole found on the top part of the smartphone.
The smartphone will come in two color variants, one in Arctic Red and the other is Arctic Blue. Regarding the device's camera setup, the smartphone would have a dual rear camera setup with two different camera islands.
Vivo V29e Camera Specs Include a 64 MP Primary Camera and a 50 MP Front Camera
Regarding the primary camera, the Vivo V29e would have a 64 MP sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilization or OIS. Aside from that, the smartphone's rear panel could also be packed with an 8MP ultra-wide cam.
According to Gadgets 360, the device also has a 50MP front camera, which buyers can use for selfies and video calls. Gizmo China reported that the smartphone is expected to have night portrait shots and what was described as a wedding-style photo portrait offering exclusively to the Indian market.

An additional report revealed that the Vivo V29e would come with an AMOLED display packed with a 6.78-curved screen. Aside from that, the smartphone is capable of reaching a peak brightness of 1,300 nits with a 360Hz PWM dimming capability.
As for its screen-to-body ratio, the Vivo V29e has an impressive 93.3%, with less than 7% of its front not being used for the device's screen.
The smartphone also comes with a Snapdragon 695 SoC chipset CPU, a 5,000 mAh battery, and fast charging capabilities of 44W.
