Opera's Aria, the AI assistant it developed for its web browser, is now making its way for a significant mobile integration for iOS devices including the iPhone and iPad. The company recently announced this integration on a post, detailing the capabilities of its Aria to carry massive tasks and bring top-notch results for users.

First and foremost, Aria is an AI chatbot, but it aims to do more than what it is expected to do.

"As a product of our collaboration with OpenAI, Aria offers you a cutting-edge generative AI service for free. This service is enhanced by our Composer architecture, granting you access to real-time web results," said Kseniia Sycheva, Opera's Senior Global Communications Manager. "Seamlessly integrated into the browser, Aria introduces an innovative paradigm for the future of web browsing."

Is the Opera Aria AI Better than Bing?

One of the main selling points of Opera's Aria AI is that the experience is user-controlled, meaning that users only get to access the part of the AI which they opt to use. The device user has the authority to choose which AI service they will engage with, leaving the power and choice entirely in their hands.

Users need to have an Opera account before they get to access Aria.

Browser and AI Developments

Microsoft went massive with AI earlier this year, with the company introducing the new and improved Bing that centers on its ChatGPT integration via its massive partnership with OpenAI. Moreover, the company also brought the Microsoft Store which features all of the apps that bring AI for users to access, leveraging its wide range of products powered by the tech.

That being said, the close competitor of Microsoft here is Google, with the internet company integrating significant AI developments into many of its offers now. With the Google DeepMind branch centering on its AI, the company is now leveraging it for different apps like Google Workspace, as well as the Chrome browser for the public to enjoy.

Mozilla also joins in with its Firefox integrated with AI and brings a new experience to those that browse the web on its platform.

Opera may be the lesser-known browser amongst all of these, but the company has maintained a massive market, now leveraging AI for the iOS platform with AI chatbot capabilities, and more.
