A new leak is now surrounding Fortnite's future releases, with the latest detail centering on its collaboration with WWE, the famed American wrestling franchise. Apart from the previous collaboration, this new one would allegedly feature two new skins for gamers to enjoy, centering on the stars who will see a digital version of their likeness.
The growing collaboration of Fortnite and WWE only shows how both famous entities have greatly benefitted from each other since its release last year.
Fortnite x WWE Leak: Which Skins are Coming?
The latest leak for Fortnite came from renowned speculator and leaker, Shiina BR, who talked about another WWE collaboration taking place in the battle royale. This new leak claimed that two character skins are coming for gamers to purchase soon.
These new skins include WWE wrestlers, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch, both of which would drop by the Item Shop for purchase.
However, this leak did not specify which items are coming with these two wrestlers, as normally, Fortnite leaks contain massive information like special weapons, back bling, glider, pickaxe, loading screens, and more.
Additionally, Shiina BR did not reveal how much would these skins be for Fortnite's V-Bucks, and previous leaks also mentioned its expected prices for this. It would typically cost users from 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks, depending if these skins are offered as standalone or bundled.
Fortnite Leak: WWE is Coming Next Week
The latest reports center on the leaker's claims of when the collab would drop, which Shiina BR gave the public the exact release date and time, dropping by Wednesday, August 16, at 8 PM Eastern Time.
With all that set, gamers only have to wait until Wednesday for the skins to drop, but other details like a special event or the appearance of wrestling rings were not included in the latest information.
Fortnite and its Collaborations
February 2022 was the first time when the industry leakers and insiders caught a whiff of Fortnite's first WWE collaboration, with John Cena being the first skin coming from the famed franchise. However, despite the early rumors, Cena only dropped by the Battle Island later that year, particularly in July, almost five months after.
Apart from the WWE, Fortnite is best known for its collaboration with the likes of Marvel, with the latest release of the game centering on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie featuring the titular hero, Miles Morales. However, he was also joined by several special items and weapons like the web-slinger, and fellow hero, Spider-Man 2099, a.k.a. Miguel O'Hara.
Other renowned franchises were also featured in Fortnite, and it only shows how the company works on collaborations and getting renowned characters to appear in the battle royale. Now, for the second time around, Fortnite is yet again joining hands with WWE to bring two of its iconic female wrestlers, coming next week for all.
