The massive traction of the Musk vs. Zuck fight has all corners of the world invested in what is about to happen, but it appears that Mark Zuckerberg is no longer expecting this to happen. The Meta CEO and owner want users to "move on" from this fight.
Zuckerberg initially said that Musk name the time and place for the fight, but the Tesla owner had much information to share, but not an exact date or organization of the said charity fight event.
Mark Zuckerberg Wants You to 'Move On' from the Tech CEO Brawl
In the latest Threads post by CEO and owner, Mark Zuckerberg, it seems like he is no longer expecting for the fight between him and Musk to happen anytime soon. In his words, he said that "I think we can all agree Elon isn't serious and it's time to move on."
Zuck went on to detail the many events that transpired since the challenge was accepted last June, with the Meta CEO already offering a "real" date for the brawl.
He even mentioned the interest that Dana White put in for this to happen, but despite all the efforts from his camp and third-party participants who want it to take place, there are no concrete details that came from the Musk camp.
Mark Zuckerberg also revealed that despite Musk confirming his surgery that would delay the fight, the X owner hit him up to do a "practice round" in his backyard.
With all that said, he advises the public to move on from this fight.
Is Musk vs. Zuck Fight Now Over? Meta CEO Wants 'Serious' Opponents
It is unknown if this recent statement from Zuckerberg effectively shuts down the entire fight to take place between him and Musk.
However, Zuck still said that he is open to a real one should Musk make up his mind, having an official date and event.
For now, the Meta owner will focus his blazing spirit on finding other "serious" opponents that will get in the cage with him.
Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk
Being ready and waiting for the details of the fight is different from wanting the match to happen, and that is the clear distinction between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, as evidenced by their online statements. While the fight is meant to dispel the bad blood between both CEOs, it is also looking to be a charity event from both Musk and Zuck's foundation as its sponsors.
However, the world and these two CEOs are not the only ones invested in this MMA matchup, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship and its president, Dana White, have also expressed interest in this. Still, despite the presence of a promising league and organizer that would make this a possibility, it has not yet gotten the ball rolling for both.
With all that has been said and reiterated to the public online, there is one clear thing, and that is the fight will not happen anytime soon because of the surgery that Musk needs to undergo. Apart from that, the date is still not yet set, despite Zuck already waiting for this matchup to happen over at his camp, with the tech CEO now moving on from Musk and looking at opponents that will surely take him up.
