With Twitter's migration to X, Elon Musk has already finalized his plans to auction some memorabilia which reminds everyone of the iconic blue bird.
Would you believe that even the big logo on the side of Twitter's former building was also put on auction? Here are the other crazy items that you can buy from the billionaire.
Elon Musk Will Auction Twitter Memorabilia
A month after Musk rebranded Twitter to simply "X," he already decided to sell the memorabilia from the former social media app.
With this move, Musk has confirmed "And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds."
According to a report by The Guardian, there are 584 listings in the Twitter auction which include some of the things you can't imagine including bird cages and pebble seats.
At the moment, Musk and his team have not yet removed the popular blue bird logo of the microblogging site. It was still mounted in the headquarters of the company.
According to the listing, the person who will purchase this logo will be responsible for hiring an SF Licensed Company with "appropriate Permits."
The entire "Twitter Rebranding: Online Auction Featuring Memorabilia, Art, Office Assets & More!" auction is the latest auction that Musk hosted in 2023.
Heritage Global Partners, the partner auction house in the event, says that each auction item begins at $25.
Prior to the Twitter rebranding, the tech entrepreneur held a San Francisco auction back in January. At that time, Musk put up Twitter's bird statue on sale along with other office memorabilia such as office drawers and sofas. The bird statue was bought for $100,000.
Surprisingly, the auctions came right after Musk announced the company layoffs.
