One of the best electric pickup trucks in the market and its category, the Ford F-150 Lightning EV, is seeing a significant price drop, with as much as $9,799, depending on the variant. The Dearborn-based automaker announced that these new prices are because of the upcoming availability of its new plant, as well as efficiency improvements on the EV.

- Lariat Extended Range - $77,495 ($8,479 reduction)
- Platinum Extended Range - $91,995 ($6,079 reduction)

Ford's New Plant is Coming, More F-150 Lightnings Too
According to CNET, Ford's temporarily closed-down plant is coming back online and this would help in expediting the production process and apply the improvements to the F-150 Lightning EVs. Apart from the price reduction, Ford is also looking to deliver as many as 150,000 units of the electric pickup for its availability to the public.
