The former Amazon CEO and its known founder Jeff Bezos is now entering the committed life after reports now swirling in regarding his engagement with four-year girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez. The known journalist and former host of "Good Day L.A." is still set for her all-ladies crew aboard the Blue Origin for a flight to orbit, the same one which Bezos flew back in 2021.
The pair are now celebrating their engagement at the Cannes Film Festival, a massive showcase on the southern coast of France, aboard his $500 million yacht.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are Now Engaged, Sources Confirmed
A report from E! News confirms that Jeff Bezos is now engaged to his four-year girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, and initial speculations were confirmed by sources close to the couple. Bezos and Sanchez were seen on their million-dollar yacht in the south of France earlier this week, with the business magnate's girlfriend seen wearing a massive rock on her ring finger.
Sanchez and Bezos are starting a "blended family" together, along with Jeff Bezos' four children and Lauren Sanchez's three children with former partners.
Bezos shares his children from his long-standing relationship of 25 years with MacKenzie Scott, his former wife and a person who he started Amazon with, since its beginnings.
It is unknown when Bezos popped the question to his fiancé.
Lauren Sanchez Still Set to Lead an All-Female Crew to Space
According to Gizmodo, Sanchez is also known for having the chance to lead an all-female crew to space, and this is still a venture that will come soon in the future, not yet having a set time and date.
The journalist and pilot will board Blue Origin's reusable space rocket, New Shepard soon, to experience space and go to orbit like the previous missions of the space company.
Wait, Bezos and Sanchez are Not Going to Space Together?
The former Amazon CEO who stepped off the business but serves as its chairman is now enjoying life, as he is already set for many years to come.
Bezos' current focus now is his current goal which is to make space more within reach to the public, as a private space company operating to provide its services with Blue Origin. The space company is set for its fifth crewed flight which gives a Mexican woman a chance to shine in her field, while still completing her Master's degree at John Hopkins University.
Now, his focus is on his new beginnings in life with his fiancé, Lauren Sanchez, who is set to go to space soon.
With the confirmation of their engagement from close sources around the couple, there are no announcements regarding their journey to orbit together. Still, this is something they could do, as after all, Bezos is the co-founder, owner, and CEO of Blue Origin, one of the top private space companies in the world.
For now, both are cruising to the sunset and enjoying the southern coast of France, with award-winning and nominated films to watch for the newly-engaged couple.
