It's been a long time, but third-party developers have finally released news of upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, alongside several airport releases. Chief among these is the much-anticipated PMDG Boeing 737 for Xbox, which the company's CEO Robert Randazzo hopes to launch on May 18 or May 15 if all goes to plan.

The airliner will come with a livery package priced at $4.99. Unfortunately, users won't be able to get the Pokemon livery featured above as it is user-made and free on PC. If anyone were to try to sell it, they'd likely attract legal attention.
According to the story by Tech Raptor, progress is also being made on the Universal Flight Tablet for the 737, which will be released with various features, with more to be added. There is still no release date, but the interface will support Navigraph and Simbrief.
Microsoft Flight Simulator fans were recently treated to fantastic news as popular third-party developer PMDG announced the launch of their Boeing 737 package for the Xbox version of the game.
Unveiling the Features of the Universal Flight Tablet for the Boeing 737
This simulator is highly anticipated for console users, allowing for a highly detailed and realistic flying experience. In addition to the release of the Boeing 737, PMDG has also made plans to release custom liveries at the very fair price of $4.99.
Unfortunately, the company has no plans to offer the fan-favorite Pokemon livery seen in official game screenshots as Nintendo does not permit it. The wait for the official release of the Boeing 737 is ending, with the developer stipulating that users can expect the package to become available either on May 15th or May 18th.
But fans won't have to wait for the full package to enjoy the real-world experience of flying the iconic airliner. PMDG has been hard at work creating the Universal Flight Tablet for the 737, which is due to launch with a number of features, with more to be added in the future.

PMDG Launches Microsoft Flight Simulator Development of Boeing 777 and 737
The simulation will include Navigraph and Simbrief functionality, although this product's official release date has not yet been revealed. PMDG also recently shared a tantalizing update regarding the development of their Boeing 777 package. PILOT's GesmbH also announced how the Citation X+ jet was added to MSFS.
Working hard to improve their 737 developments between 2020 and the present day, the team is very happy with their results. They've been silent in showing development shots, however, as they're looking to preserve the moment of awe and delight when players first experience the game.
It's a very exciting time to be a Microsoft Flight Simulator fan as we're on the brink of experiencing two of aviation's most iconic airliners. With a release date of May 15th or 18th scheduled for the Boeing 737 and continued updates on the 777, we can't wait to see what's in store from PMDG.
