Retro games have a special place in the heart of collectors and avid fans who love playing classic gameplay. For FPS gamers, there's a new shooter game that is waiting to be explored at an unspecified date.

The art style of Disney films in the 1930s has so much nostalgia to remember. As you explore the world of mystery and crime, you will be playing John Mouston, who is on a mission to gun down criminals in a film noir environment.

According to Hardcore Gamer, Fumi Games has not yet revealed some information about "Mouse" except for the trailer. Judging from the video, you will be tasked to slay your opponents in a city where corruption is rampant.

There's so much to discover with its vintage animation, and you will really enjoy playing it if you're a fan of rubber hose-inspired games.

"Join private detective John Mouston in MOUSE, a gritty, jazz-fueled shooter. With guns blazing and a retro rubber hose animation style, battle your way through a corrupt city full of crooks and danger. Inspired by classic FPS and noir films, MOUSE is the explosive shooter you've been waiting for," the Steam page description reads.

Fumi is Incorporating Flexibility in 'Mouse'

The days of the "Mickey Mouse" series are already over, but you can glimpse back to the past through this first-person shooter.

Explosions, blazing guns, and balloons are all over the place, and you have to eliminate every living enemy on the map as soon as possible.

According to Engadget, "Mouse" won't stick alone to nostalgia but instead incorporate some flexibility for players to see what they can do beyond shooting down opponents.

The gamers can dodge the enemies so they can strategize properly before attacking the hoard of antagonists. "Mouse" offers a Bioshock-like vending machine which is something you should first see if you want to upgrade your weapons and abilities to a higher level.

There's so much work to be finished as Fumi Games remains silent about its release date. However, the footage shows that it's a promising FPS meant to excite the sleeping nerves of not just Disney fans but also shooter fans who are longing to play a shooter in a different setting.

According to Escapist Magazine, if "Bioshock" and "Cuphead" will have a baby, that's "Mouse." It's no wonder that it's one of the most awaited games this year because of the hype and timeless graphics.

The game is expected to launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. In the meantime, you can also read more information about "Galaxy Taxi," another Fumi-made shooter that's all about "taking clients from one planet to another."
