An Apple leaker's source has been fired. The iPhone maker allegedly used the so-called "multi-step sting" operation to catch the employee.
Rumors provided by leakers about new (or upcoming) Apple products are rampant as the tech giant manufacturer releases new gadgets.
Although there are numerous reliable Apple leakers, some new unreliable Apple insiders also appear.
These include Twitter user @analyst941. But, Apple was able to stop the leaker by firing his source.

Unfortunately, Apple already has some hints on who the leaker's source is.
Instead of providing correct details, the iPhone maker gave a set of false information to suspected employees.
@analyst941's source received false release dates for the Final Cut Pro and Logic on Apple iPad. Because of this, the gadget manufacturer was able to identify the job insider.
This was also confirmed by the Apple leaker since the fired employee is his sister.
"I don't want to share too many details right now because of the legality of things - but a multi-step sting has gotten my sister fired from Apple," said the leaker via 9To5Mac.
He added that they are afraid that the next step of Apple would be to file legal action against him and his sister.
To avoid more serious issues, @analyst941 decided to deactivate his Twitter account for good.
