But, instead of opening a regular browser, SquareX's cybersecurity tool will direct users to disposable browsers.
"Conventional cyber-security products don't work well for consumers because they get in the way," said SquareX CEO Vivek Ramachandran via Forbes.
"They're so unproductive that many consumers end up simply uninstalling them," he added.
With SquareX's new anti-virus browser extension, consumers will be able to visit open attachments and visit websites in a secure space on the cloud.
Other Details of SquareX
SquareX's anti-virus browser extension allows anonymous browsing from any location. Consumers can take advantage of this tech since it will enable them to dispose of their browsing activity anytime.
This means that no data will be retained. Aside from this, the browser session will also be destroyed and removed from the startup's servers.
As of press time, SquareX said that they are planning to focus on consumers in the United States, Asia, and the United Kingdom. But, SquareX is expected to offer its service to other countries in the near future.
