Samsung Galaxy S23's Astrophoto mode finally arrives in older Galaxy models.
The South Korean gadget maker introduced this camera feature as an exclusive enhancement for the S22 and S23 series.
Now, Samsung finally rolled out this advanced feature to older Galaxy smartphones, such as the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 also received the Astrophoto mode. If you own one of these older devices, then here's how you can get the advanced Astrophoto feature.
Samsung Galaxy S23's Astrophoto Mode Arrives in Older Models!
According to GSM Arena's latest report, the Astrophoto mode can be accessed by the mentioned Galaxy models above via the ExpertRAW app.

However, users still need to have the latest version of the application, which is ExpertRAW 2.0.09.1. If you already have this all, you can check the version manually on your Galaxy S21 or Galaxy Z Fold4.
To do this, just open your smartphone's Settings and check the software update menu. If the mentioned version didn't appear, just visit the ExpertRAW app on Google Play and update it.
Astrophoto Mode: How to Use It?
The Astrophoto mode is a very useful camera feature. However, the quality of its captured photos will still depend on how clear the night sky is.
Also, pollution in your area could affect the image quality of the Astrophoto mode.
With the advanced Astrophoto mode, Galaxy users can capture the night sky by keeping the shutter of their ExpertRAW for around 10 minutes.
You can also take advantage of the Sky guide, which will show you the positions of the constellations and starts in your area.
Since your camera will be open for 10 minutes, Android Police suggested bringing a tripod or any stable smartphone holder.
