Google Photos has recently released a new video editing tool for Chromebook users, making it easy for them to create and edit movies in just a few clicks, TechRadar reports.
More good news: While the announcement was made last month, the tool has now been made available to all Chromebook users.
A Look at the Newest Chromebook Feature
Making a video on Google Photos is an easy process. How? The user should first pick the option to create a movie, then selects a theme from a selection of eight preset options such as "Friendship," "Love Story," "Pet Movie," "Selfie Movie," and others.
The user may then choose whatever elements, such as friends or family members, they wish to include in the clip, and the movie creator will pull out videos and images of those people from Google Photos.

The tool also allows you to add clips from local files on your Chromebook. Users can edit the footage in the movie editor once the initial set of clips has been put together into a movie. Users may use the tool to shorten clips, apply filters, alter brightness, and add a stock soundtrack to add some jazz.

Take Note Chromebook Users
9to5Google tells us that Chromebook users can launch the new video editing experience by searching for "movie" in the ChromeOS Launcher or by clicking on the "Creations" button in the navigation rail that shows a grid of search results and offers a "New Creation" FAB centered at the bottom.
The new tool even offers a storyboard for the movie that appears at the bottom of the screen, and users can add photos and video clips to it, rearrange them with drag-and-drop, and manually edit them.
The tool offers several editing tools, including suggestions for enhanced editing tools like Portrait and Color Pop, tools to choose from other editing tools like Portrait Blur and Sky, an option to manually apply more detailed edits like Brightness, Contrast, and Shadows, preset filters to liven up photos or videos, and an option to add freehand writing or text to photos manually.
More Features
Chromebook users can also add music to their movies from their personal library or choose theme music from the app's Soundtrack library.
Google Photos' new video editing tool is now available for all Chromebook users. Chromebook users can check if Google Photos is installed to access the tool. If not, they can download the app from the Play Store. Chromebook users can expect to receive the new tool in the coming weeks.
