This is not a wrestling event as most WWE fans know with the word "slam" included in its promotional event title, as this is for the upcoming mainline sequel of the famed action role-playing game (RPG) "Diablo IV." Blizzard Entertainment has announced another early access program for gamers to enjoy, but it will be available for a limited time only this May.
Additionally, this "Server Slam" for "Diablo IV" will feature only a limited part of the game to experience, but it would already provide an experience for the highly anticipated game.
'Diablo IV' Server Slam Coming this May for Another Early Access
Diablo and Blizzard Entertainment claim they heard the request of gamers for their upcoming game, as more and more await its release date, many are looking for early access to experience it firsthand. Their wishes are granted in the latest announcement of the "Diablo IV" Server Slam that will take place this May 12 to 14 for more players to experience.
This "Server Slam" will allow more gamers to experience the early stages of the game, particularly its prologue and Act I gameplay that will be available on the said dates.
This event would limit the early access gamers' progression up to Level 20 only, where they will have a chance to fight with the early bosses of the game, the formidable Burning Hell's spawn, Ashva.
How to Join the 'Diablo IV' Server Slam from Blizzard?
The Server Slam is releasing by May 12 at 12 PM Pacific Time, and Blizzard Entertainment is allowing users to prepare for the event two days before so that they will be set come the 12th.
By May 10, users may already pre-download the game's early access at 12 PM PDT, so that it would be immediately available once it opens its doors to the public when the Server Slam launches. It is available via Battle.Net, Xbox Series S and X, the PS5, PS4, and Xbox One.
'Diablo IV' is Coming Soon
Blizzard Entertainment announced the famed sequel to its mainline series of the "Diablo" franchise on BlizzCon 2019, and it has been a long wait for its development since then. Gamers were left high and dry waiting for the game and it saw significant delays to the project as the release date was pushed further away.
Amidst the wait, the company and its developers have introduced a mobile RPG along the way, with the famed "Diablo Immortal" which dropped last year for all.
The game is exceptional, but gamers are craving for the immersive RPG for PCs and consoles, one that would provide them a more expansive experience compared to its mobile counterpart, already confirmed for June 6, 2023.
The closed beta and early beta access to Diablo IV was released late last year, and gamers were left again to wait for several more months before the actual game's arrival. With several months away from its inaugural release, Blizzard has yet again heard the plea of fans for re-opening its early access, now with Server Slam coming this May.
