Deepfake and AI Advancements
From appearing as fake politicians and actors on the internet to creating songs using artists' voices, deepfake is looking to be a technology that can do it all, especially in bringing pop culture advancements to the world. One of the most recent developments in deepfake is how David Guetta, the famed French DJ who used an AI to include American rapper, Eminem, in his latest song.
The movie, series, and music industry may be rid of deepfakes now, with one artist recently speaking out against the scary feats of AI and what it brings, centering on the "baba yaga" himself, Keanu Reeves.
Twitch's streaming industry was also infested by deepfakes, as anonymous creators use influencers' face and behavior which is easily available on the internet to make porn without their consent, something which they denounce.
Deepfake and AI have taken over the world, and the pop culture industry is already rid of the generative content which captures the face, voice, and behavior of known personalities. Drake and The Weeknd's new song which has already taken the world by storm is a deepfake, with this AI-generated content got fans hoping these two Canadian rappers come together for a real one.
