“Deep Tech” That Powers Ecosystems? An Introduction to Ayozat TLC, a Working Engine

We discuss the deep tech's premise on the example of Ayozat's innovative mechanism called "The Layer Cake".

For the typical reader, "deep tech" seems not only a vague term, but abstract as well. Even if we can simply type it in "Google", we find out that this is, theoretically, a conjunction of various engineering concepts, IT codes and scientific solutions that allow a new company to invent revolutionary schemes and inventions. At first hearing, it sounds promising, even exciting. Deep tech allows startups to grow, expand unknown territories and sign contracts for astronomical sums. It is also about blockchain, one of the services registering Bitcoin transactions, likewise relying on the benefits created by deep tech's ingenuity. In addition, the whole metaverse project, which recently became popular due to Facebook revolutionizing its newest ground-breaking and slightly alarming extension, revolves around engines structured in a deep tech scheme.

Yet, we quickly realize that this is a stream of loose meanings that do not tell us anything specific, as most of us know nothing about programming and economics. Nowadays, we hear "deep tech" and we immediately become confused. And, unfortunately, bewilderment brings anxiety on board.

Even so, everywhere we go, we hear slogans like, "deep tech is the future" and that there is nothing to be scared about. The modern media confer about its benefits and disadvantages or picture it as a new step in economics, the entertainment industry and startup companies in general. We hear that there are some projects which use such technology, however, the information about its specifics is not for us. "Deep tech", somehow abruptly, sneaked into our dictionaries, although it is still an unclear term for most people who know it by heart.

While trying to understand the details of deep tech's operation, I came across a deep technology press release about IONOS, Europe's leading hosting provider, which partnered with a company called Ayozat. Their deep tech mechanism, Ayozat TLC ("The Layer Cake"), claims to power ecosystems, which was intriguing. The whole information got me started with how deep tech affects the real world and everyday life. Apparently, by delving into the TLC engine, Ayozat already has a complete commercial ecosystem in the media sector. Furthermore, the whole deep tech project, powered by their engine, is currently integrating with Finance, Banking, iGaming, and Governmental sectors. In addition, TLC is rolled out on global network infrastructure, allowing it to not just provide network services and CDN, but also integrate into other technology stacks, including easy Web2, Web3 or metaverse integration, mentioned earlier.

Ayozat, founded by technologist and system architect, Umesh Perera, is relatively new in the industry, but, consequently, makes a name for itself. One can ask what exact ambition does it have in deep tech? Ayozat belongs to a very small group of companies that have not just got

into the deep technology space, but have commercial and real-world applications here and now. Ayozat TLC, powering diverse media platforms, appears to be a literal deep tech ecosystem. It includes satellite TV channels, streaming platforms, live sports, video and music rights. The company makes use of their engine for the process and monetization of everything, as well as the delivery and analysis of users on any related platform. TLC seems to be sophisticated and thorough in the control and execution of all services. Given the brands that Ayozat currently deals with and the partnerships it is signing, there clearly seems to be solid traction and adoption of the company's technological approach.

"Ayozat TLC ["The Layer Cake"] is a deep technology layered mechanism that powers, stores, and distributes different ecosystems and market sectors, securely and reliably", we read in the company's news release, yet we are stricken by sudden puzzlement; such description seems difficult for someone, who has no degree in computing or engineering. "The Layer Cake" is nothing else than a wordplay, which enables us to, actually, understand the foundation of Ayozat's newest feature product. It is a metaphor for revealing new layers hidden behind the ones we currently explore. In Ayozat's "technological cake," one can change cake layers for devices (like the Secure Data Storage layer, Global Private Network layer, Cloud hosting layer, Code Framework layer, etc.) All these technological assets, combined into one, become an idea, which can be categorized as a "deep tech" innovation; they evolve into the proverbial, eponymous cake. They all affect each other; thus, they are comprised into one composition, just like layers in an actual baking mass.

In Ayozat, the main goal of introducing "TLC" in media, is to connect with every media form that can be linked with its deep tech devices. In other words, it distributes its clients' channels and creates an independent media ecosystem, which is built around all of these specific entertainment branches. Furthermore, you can create your own streaming channel within minutes. Ayozat uses another system, OTT, to host TV channels and platforms for a wider audience. That being said, the company's technologies also allow them to merge their device- layered mechanism to various market sectors, including finance, gaming, government, and media (film, TV, music, sports), or any market for that matter. Nonetheless, through the analogy of the cake, Ayozat easily explains and then promotes the main frameworks of the company's programming invention. Could the vision of Ayozat TLC be an overarching ecosystem to oversee other ecosystems using deep technology? Now that is interesting.

Deep tech's development leads companies like Ayozat into further initiatives: the main idea is only a landmark for further expansion. For instance, currently, Ayozat has 54 Network Points of Presence (PoP). In other words, it can easily provide its services all around the world as the aforementioned points allow them to have an affinity with five out of all seven continents. Connecting with Ayozat takes only a few seconds: anyone can do it anywhere and anytime. Its deep tech ecosystem is powering all of the media branches, which allows them to gradually grow by reducing costs related to the TV signal and lowering the main transmission.

Perera also stated that Ayozat's programme "opens a myriad of opportunities for both our respective clients and new entries to the market looking for transparency within deep technology" and it sounds optimistic for the whole company. Even chairman and CEO of SportyStuffTV Limited, Kevan Moretti, some time ago, highlighted the success of the TLC

technology and the significance of its specific advantages. He has mentioned that "the low latency of their feeds is especially important in live sports" and "Ayozat's network feeds have some of the lowest latencies in the industry". According to an Ayozat representative, the live sport on SportyStuff TV, includes live horseracing, live darts and over 10,000 live dog races a year, which is impressive.

"Deep tech" is not a cup of tea for everyone, however, Ayozat's example proves that most of us can, at least, understand the primary basics of this ambitious technology. It is fascinating to watch the development of such companies like Ayozat because deep tech has started being recognized as vital and essential.

This acknowledgement allows customers to feel less insecure (when it comes to modern technologies), or to be aware of the authentic work of the companies they tend to support financially/by downloading apps and integrating with platforms like Ayozat's. Furthermore, there are other companies doing the same job, although we have never perceived them through deep tech lenses. It is time to give deep tech a shout, even if the whole matter seems too conceptual and speculative; from day to day, it concerns us, the consumers, more steadily. After all, even a few companies use it on a more professional level, deep tech is tangible in all forms of our lives. Media platforms, metaverse, blockchain: all of these surround us, so we should not close our eyes on deep tech, as it welcomes us to a new kind of future.
