The speculation behind the device centers on the refresh for this year, as it is known that Apple's MacBook lineup is getting an annual upgrade, also for its Pro version.
Apple MacBook Air 2023: 15-inch Screen Under Production
9to5 Mac shared a report regarding the latest information behind the 15-inch Apple MacBook Air 2023, an update to the famed laptop lineup from the company. The report claims that this development would feature a larger screen for the lightweight laptop from Cupertino, with the display's production already underway in time for its upcoming launch or announcement.
The report was from the renowned DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultant) head, Ross Young, who claimed that Apple is ramping up its production in time for the first half of the year.
Moreover, the larger lightweight computer will feature two variants now, the 13-inch and 15-inch displays under the codename J513 and J515.
M3 Chips Coming for the MacBook 2023 Lineup
Apart from the new 15-inch display, the MacBook Air will also feature an upgraded Silicon-based chipset to come along with it, centering on the M3 to power the new computers. It has only been a year since the M2's announcement with the MacBook Air, and the company is already looking to deliver an upgraded 8-core CPU to power the laptops.
Additionally, there are plans to upgrade the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M3.

Since Apple's release of the latest MacBook Pro powered by the M2, featuring the 14-inch and 16-inch displays from last year, powered by the M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets, there are high expectations for the next generation this year.
