Amidst the ongoing legal battles of the short-word social media, Twitter reportedly sees another executive leave the company left without one senior member of its legal team. Elon Musk is facing significant lawsuits in his era as Twitter's leader, with the most recent one coming from Germany, also while facing the wrath of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
There are still no confirmations behind this senior executive's departure, but it has become quite a buzz among the outlets and claims online, with Twitter and Musk left without the senior legal officer.
Twitter's Senior Lawyer Resigns Amidst Problems, As Per Reports
New York Times has reported that several sources who are familiar with what is happening over at Twitter claim that its senior lawyer, Christian Dowell, has recently left the company without any confirmation or notice about it. Still, it is yet to be confirmed by the company and its executives whether this happened or it may be a fluke.
Despite the vagueness of this event, it could mean that Twitter may be facing significant trouble in its legal team, amidst the many problems that it is facing in the present.
Dowell's role in the company is massive, and he attended to the matters with the FTC inquiries, and according to Ars Technica, the executive was "intimately involved" with it.

Musk, Twitter Facing Legal Battles Without Senior Lawyer
Should this latest report be real and Dowell finally confirms his resignation, this would leave Twitter with one executive who is familiar with the many legal problems that the company is facing, particularly with several he oversees.
This senior lawyer is one of the key members of Twitter's legal team and has helped save it from multiple cases already. Dowell joined Twitter's legal team in 2020, as per the reports.
Twitter and Elon Musk's Lawsuits
Dowell is one of the top executives in its legal division, centering on leading the product legal counsel, which is frankly one of the divisions of the company that is facing heavy fire at the moment. He has been involved in a prolific case in the company, including the FTC's call upon the company to turn over its internal communications with Elon Musk.
There is also a complaint from another EU member country, Germany, which claims that Twitter neglected and allowed hate speech to proliferate on the platform. This is now another problem that Musk and Twitter are facing, centering on a breach of the country's Network Enforcement Act, and could be facing a fine of up to $54.7 million.
It is yet unknown if Dowell was laid off without notice, as apparently, it is reportedly a thing over at Twitter, without any formal discussions about it and the missing severance package. This senior lawyer is an important member of the team, and with Musk's Twitter facing significant battles in the present, it could also be possible that this executive may have left the company.
