Tesla Crash Repair Center's Other Details

Via its official website, Tesla explained why its in-house crash repair centers are important for consumers.

"Body repairs are not only about fixing a damaged aesthetic - they are also important to ensure the functionality, safety and longevity of your Tesla," said the automaker.

As of press time, the car developer only runs Tesla-approved collision centers; external body repair operators handle these facilities.

Once the new in-house Tesla collision repair centers are opened, faster access to parts, repair procedures, and other operations is expected to be offered.

Here are the following repairs that these in-house collision centers could offer:

  • Replacements: Front and rear bumpers, bonnet, wheels, boot lids, rear-view side mirrors, doors, etc.
  • Glass panel replacements: roof, windows, and windscreen.
  • Dents: Doors, side mirrors, as well as front and rear bumpers.
