NaaS Technology Inc. has launched its first automatic electric vehicle charging robot that automatically locates your EV, smart charges it, and takes automatic payments as a response to the increasing demand for mobile chargers dedicated to electric vehicles.

("NaaS" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: NAAS), one of the largest and fastest growing electric vehicle charging service providers in China, recently announced the launch of its first self-developed automatic charging robot. Developing the Automatic Charging Robot

One of China's largest electric vehicle charging service providers, NaaS Technology, revealed its newest offering to the market, an adorable orange-and-white technology that will help EV users to boost their systems.

Electrek reported that the company is releasing its first automatic mobile EV charging robot that offers one click ordering, active vehicle locating, smart charging, and more promising features.

This was developed by NaaS' team for Automatic Energy Replenishment Solution, which includes members that are former employees of different automakers like Bosch, BMW, and other technology companies.

The team includes members that have profound expertise and experience in robotics, autonomous driving and vehicles, industrial automation technology, software algorithms, sensors, and more areas in the industry.

Robot's Features

The waterproof and shockproof robot will have promising features like active vehicle locating, smart charging, and automatic payment settlement. Cision PR Newswire reported that this will also come with deep learning, 5G, V2X, simultaneous localization and mapping, precise self-parking, automatic docking, and automatic return and recharging functions.

As per the China-based company, compatible automatic charging robots will become indispensable infrastructure as the demand for mobile chargers has increased, which is available in different charging power and battery capacity options.

Not only it enables owners to enjoy unmanned service everywhere to save time and effort, but it also connects seamlessly with major OAMS through an open API. Currently, this has been already integrated with the EV car system through the API interface.

The automatic charging robot will initiate an automatic vehicle search in case of insufficient battery power, with the developed mechanical arm will independently detect the position of the charging port and automatically plugging and unplugging the charging gun.

Interesting Engineering reported that Naas Technology is the first EV charging service provider in China to be included in the list on NASDAQ, with over 515,000 chargers as of December 31, 2022. More than 100 domestic and international patents were also obtained by the company across different charging services, mobile charging devices, and PV-storage charging stations.

NaaS will continue to allocate its funds to its core competencies like algorithms, smart hardware, cloud platforms, and charging station solutions in order for the company to build new facilities that will adapt to the future of autonomous driving. The company also aims to empower electric mobility in China and the whole world.
