According to Apple Insider's latest report, Netflix Basic With Ads commonly shows advertisements every after four minutes per hour.

However, this will still depend on the movie or TV series you are watching.
The quality is also limited to 720p, which is quite low compared to other services on the Apple TV, which offers between 1080p to 4k resolutions.
This cheap ad-supported Netflix plan also limits one stream per account and prevents users from downloading content for offline viewing.
Despite these limitations, many users already shared their positive comments, saying that the $6.99 subscription tier is worthwhile.
The popularity of the Netflix Basic with Ads plan is further improving as the streaming giant increases the prices of its other higher-tier services.

The Verge recently reported that the Netflix Basic with Ads plan is already gathering momentum in the United States.
This means that the ad-supported service is attracting lots of subscribers.
Analytics firm Antenna even claimed that Netflix Basic with Ads already has around one million accounts signed up to it.
