EV home charging experience satisfaction is decreasing.
This detail was revealed in the latest study conducted by JD Power, a global leader in consumer rights, advisory services, data, and analytics.
The data analytics organization said that EV owners are getting more frustrated with their EV home chargers. Now, here are the main reasons why EV home charging experience satisfaction is decreasing.

According to Electrek's latest report, higher electricity rates and charging speeds are among the main reasons why EV owners are getting frustrated with their home charging experiences.

JD Power's official study explained that the rising electricity rates make it more complicated to educate EV owners when it comes to rebates or incentives. But, if consumers are educated properly, their EV home charging experience satisfaction will increase since they will know the right purchase decisions.
When it comes to charging speeds, EV owners with Level 2 mounted chargers are actually more satisfied than those who only have Level 1 portable chargers. Because of this, most of the study's participants said that are considering upgrading their Level 1 EV home chargers to Level 2 units.
Tesla Owners are the Most Satisfied
JD Power claimed that the Level 2 permanently mounted home charging station segment is the only one it found award-eligible. Because of this, it ranked the companies with this product to see which one has the most satisfied consumers.
Based on their findings, Tesla owners are the most satisfied, with a score of 790. The second place is taken by GRIZZL-E consumers, which has a score of 757.
