The famous multinational computer software company, Adobe, finally unveiled their much-awaited AI art generator by the name of Firefly. Its initial reports show significant development for the AI which is now in beta, and there were remarks that this AI art generator is an "ethical" one, particularly as it is trained under the renowned Adobe Stock.
The artificial intelligence industry has greatly expanded throughout the past, with companies like OpenAI and Midjourney headlining the art generation industry, but saw significant problems with copyrights in the past.
Adobe Firefly AI delivers an 'Ethical' Art Generation?
Adobe announced the arrival of the Firefly AI last Tuesday, and it gave the world a new text-to-image art generator that would deliver new and creative takes from their prompts. The company also regarded that this Firefly AI will have the "Do Not Train" tag option available for artists that do not want their work to be used in this model's training.
It will give the artists a chance to remove their work's association with the AI content generation and avoid being copied by the AI.
Moreover, Adobe claims that the Firefly was trained under the Adobe Stock library, meaning that everything it would output would mostly be under its licensed and produced content, under the public domain.

Firefly vs. OpenAI's DALL-E 2, Midjourney AI
Users may see and experience the Firefly AI for themselves, and Adobe has it available on a beta testing platform via the system's official website.
Should Adobe's claims about the Firefly stick to what it says, it may be better than other generators in the industry who were trained using the internet and past works, those that already faced many complaints from various owners and artists.
AI Art Generators in the Industry
AI in technology and media is a booming industry now, as many are immersing their services and systems with generative content, with famous companies leading the world. In the multimedia industry, artificial intelligence is a massive player now, with companies like OpenAI leading in the world with its ChatGPT and DALL-E 2.
In the past, copyrighting one's work with help from AI is something that the USPTO does not approve of, but it recently changed earlier, centering on the many developments that accept it. AI-generated artwork is now possible to apply for patents and trademarks, and creators may enjoy this perk for protecting their creations with AI.
AI previously faced the problems of many artists claiming that their work was stolen or copied without their permission as these models were trained under the many examples available on the internet and in the past.
However, Adobe Firefly wants to make it right with its "ethical" creation, one that taps into the power of Adobe Stock and other licenses to train its model and deliver new artwork for its clients under the beta.
