Harley-Davidson has announced that its electric motorcycle brand LiveWire has released the LiveWire ONE in Europe, according to Electrek.
The LiveWire ONE
The LiveWire ONE is the successor of the LiveWire electric motorcycle that was available in Europe a few years ago. However, due to the electron-powered H-D gap in Europe, production had to stop, which brought on the LiveWire ONE.
The LiveWire ONE is a premium motorcycle that promises high performance similar to its US version. It comes at a better price of approximately $23K.
Those in Europe can now put reservations for the LiveWire ONE, and deliveries are expected to begin in April.
Unique in the Industry
The 0-60 mph electric motorcycle delivers excellent torque and a unique sound through the miter gear transmission. Even though it's not long-range for highway riding, it can go for 140 miles of city range and 90 miles of mixed city/highway range, which makes it a good bike for city rides and highway sprints.
With its fast charging DC, the electric motorcycle can almost fully charge in only half an hour, letting riders get back on the road quickly.
For riders with chargers at home, a Level 1 charger is recommended and can be used for a full overnight charge.
Eventually, the LiveWire ONE will be joined by the LiveWire S2 Del Mar. LiveWire ONE is seen as a halo motorcycle that showcases the brand's engineering prowess.
On the other hand, the S2 Del Mar retains the ONE's powerful acceleration and performance with a mass-market appeal. Therefore, you can expect it to come with an affordable price tag.
Del Mar's Launch Edition bikes are already sold out, and the regular production bikes will retail for around $17K, which is 25 percent less than the ONE.
However, there have yet to be any details on when Del Mar will be available in Europe.

Electric Motorcycles On the Rise
The LiveWire ONE and S2 Del Mar are just the beginning of Harley-Davidson's foray into electric motorcycles. The company is also reportedly working on a fully electric bike, thought to be called the LiveWire R.
Harley-Davidson is one of many with electric motorcycles. Big names like BMW, Zero Motorcycles, and Energica have electric motorcycles in their lineup.
Electric motorcycles are becoming increasingly popular, offering many advantages over traditional gasoline-powered bikes. They're more efficient, quieter, and don't emit any pollutants. Moreover, they are also more affordable since they don't require regular maintenance like oil changes and spark plug replacements.
Electric motorcycles can also be programmed to have different riding modes and power levels for different types of roads and terrain, allowing riders to customize their ride.
