Apple's answer to ChatGPT might not be a new AI model, as claimed by tech experts.
Instead, they believe that the iPhone maker will release an updated Siri to compete with the popular chatbot. Ever since ChatGPT arrived and made huge headlines, many tech firms decided to develop their own AI models.
One of these is Google, which recently launched Bard, a conversational AI. However, it seems like Apple has other plans of its own.

Rumors claimed that Apple will use this new technology to enhance its voice assistant. This innovation codenamed Bobcat is allegedly being tested for Siri on the latest tvOS 16.4.
The new natural language system is believed to allow Siri to tell dad jokes, just like ChatGPT, as reported by 9To5Mac.
Aside from this, Bobcat could also allow the voice assistant to set timers.
Tech enthusiasts believe that once the Bobcat tech is completed, Apple will launch it to the rest of its operating systems.
If speculations are true, Bobcat can allow Siri to exceed its ability limitations. However, it is still far too early to say that the updated Siri can match or even beat ChatGPT in the future.
Will updated Siri compete with ChatGPT?
While other tech enthusiasts believe that the updated Siri will be used to compete with ChatGPT, other experts think otherwise.
They said that just because Apple is working on a new natural language system for Siri doesn't mean it wants to compete with AI-powered chatbots.
There's a high chance that Apple just wants Bobcat to improve its voice assistant technology.
The tech giant manufacturer may even release Bobcat to its other technologies.
While it is unclear if Apple will join the AI race, other tech firms are already doing it.
