It's popular in sunny areas and beach communities, where they are usually used as a mode of local transportation.

'Expensive' Mokes
Unbeknownst to some, buying a Moke doesn't come cheap in the US. In fact, it's almost at $22,000 without other fancy add-ons yet. There is also an almost six-month lead time for the company to make one for you.
WeMoke is hoping that the idea will catch on, and recently, it has added several cities to its growing list of locations. Aside from Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Tennessee, and New York can rent these cute jeeps.
The rental price, starts at $125 per hour or $435 per day.
The Mokes are all about their unique look and driving experience, hence the higher price. When it comes to its performance, you don't want to expect too much from it. It's a low-sped vehicle that tops out at 25mph. They can be on roads only with speed limits up to 35 mph. Thus, you're not allowed to take this on the freeway.
However, they are perfect for beach communities, and it has 40 miles of range per change, which means you will likely enjoy them for the whole day of fun in the city.
The company is providing a fleet of the little EVs in partnership with South Florida Motorsports to serve as VIP transportation throughout the Miami International Autodrome, which is where the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix will be held. It can be recalled that in 2022, 20 Mokes were provided as transportation around the race.
