Microsoft Bing ChatGPT's new update allows users to have more personalized experiences.
The Bing search engine gained more users ever since Microsoft partnered with OpenAI. This collaboration allows Microsoft's Bing to have ChatGPT as one of its major enhancements.
But, this doesn't stop here. The software giant decided to enhance the AI-powered Bing search engine by releasing a new feature.
This latest update allows Bing ChatGPT to have three personality types; balanced, precise, and creative modes.
Microsoft Bing ChatGPT Update Offers More Personalized Experience!
According to Interesting Engineering's latest report, there are instances when AI chatbots act rude or stubbornly.
Because of these personality types, there's a high chance that user experiences could be affected.
Aside from this, AI chatbots can also be talkative in certain scenarios. For example, if you are asking it to create diet plans, the answers that these conversational AIs provide could be too much for users.
This is why Microsoft decided to update its ChatGPT-powered Bing search engine. If you are among the users that can access the new Chat Mode selector, here's how it works.
How Bing Chat Mode Selector Works
The Verge reported that not everyone can access the new Chat Mode selector in Bing.
Microsoft is still rolling out this new enhancement; around 90% of the users can already use the new Chat Mode selector.
The balanced mode is the default mode used by Microsoft in its AI-powered Bing search engine.
This feature provides answers in a normal way, meaning it is still the original ChatGPT talking to you. But, if you choose the creative or precise mode, the Bing AI chat will provide you with the answer in different tones:
- Creative: Bing ChatGPT will send the answer just like how people talk to each other.
- Precise: Bing ChatGPT will provide direct answers, offering you just the important details.
These three modes will have different color tones so that users can easily identify Bing's current personality; blue for balanced, teal for precise, and purple for creative.
