In the iPhone maker's official document, the new foldable device could be controlled via other parts.

This means that users can touch multiple parts (not just the screen) to carry out functions.

Based on the images, Apple will make this possible by integrating a wraparound panel into its foldable device.

If this is true, then the new foldable iPhone could have a huge advantage over its competitors, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and other similar gadgets.

As of writing, Apple hasn't shared any estimated release date for its most-awaited foldable iPhone.

Although this is the case, many tech enthusiasts already shared their excitement as they believe that the new foldable iPhone could lead to an uptick in the tech market.

"We believe that a foldable iPhone model could lead to an uptick in consumer purchasing and upgrade rate within the smartphone segment," said UBS.

Apple Working on Other Foldable Devices

ZDNet reported that Apple could launch a new foldable device as early as 2024.

However, this gadget is not the foldable iPhone. Instead, Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable tech enthusiast, said that the tech company could release a new foldable iPad with carbon fiber kickstand.

He claimed that this carbon fiber kickstand could make the device more durable and lighter.

Aside from this, Kuo also believes that the new foldable iPad could boost Apple's shipments enhance the company's product mix.
