Apple iPhone 15 Pro's display is likely from Samsung, and it might feature a much brighter screen, which should work well on sunny days.
The iPhone 15 Pro has yet to get its release date, but rumors are now suggesting what it might offer once it gets the shimmer of the spotlight later this 2023.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Display From Samsung
As per a recent report by Tom's Guide, a new leak claims that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro is likely to sport a Samsung-made display.
The South Korean phone maker is reportedly planning to stuff the newer high-end Apple flagship with its new "M13" screen.
Tom's Guide notes in its report that the "M13" is an upgrade of what the current Galaxy S23 Ultra series offer. The Samsung flagship lineup only comes with the "M11" display, which the renowned tech giant has been using in its mobile devices since 2021.
The leaker that goes by the name "Chuvn888" claims that the South Korean-based firm has been using the same panel for quite a while now.
The Samsung "M11" panel first saw the light of day when the Galaxy S21 Ultra debuted in 2021.
The following year, the phone maker used the same panel for its Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra kept the same route.
However, a new "M13" panel is potentially arriving in the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro, the leaker disclosed. But what does this new display bring to the table?
Much Brighter Samsung Display
Apple Insider reports that a leaker, known as Shrimp Apple Pro, suggests that the next-generation pale of Samsung might power the iPhone 15 Pro.
It should make the display of the high-end mobile device way brighter than its predecessor.
Better than the iPhone 14 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra?
The Apple-focused news outlet notes that the current iPhone 14 Pro models, including the Pro and the Pro Max, currently offer the brightest display for any iPhone out there.
But it looks like the iPhone 15 Pro models are getting a tad brighter than these two devices. Leaks suggest that the upcoming Samsung panel is likely to support up to 2,500 nits.
Apple Insider notes that the latest iPhones typically reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness when users are using them outdoors. On the other hand, indoor use supports up to 1,000 nits.
Meanwhile, GSM Arena disclosed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra maxes out at 1,760 nits of peak brightness.
