Telegram New Update: Emojis and Productivity Features

As per a recent report by XDA Developers, the privacy-focused messaging service, Telegram, dishes out its latest update.

The new update comes with tons of new features, along with a lot of emojis, which users could use while talking to their friends, family members, or even co-workers.

The latest release offers a new "Auto-Save Incoming Media" option. Users could now control which photo or video will be saved to their devices automatically based on their size, file type, or who sent them. With this, it should help users to prevent filling their phones with unnecessary files. It is one step to do so.

XDA Developers reports that Telegram is known for sporting an abundant supply of emojis. So whatever your mood or reaction is, the messaging app might have something for you.

However, given that the messaging service offers tons of emojis, some users might find it hard to browse all of them. Doing so is a proper chore. So others might end up using the emojis that they got used to over and over again instead.

But this time, Telegram found a way to make browsing emojis easier than ever. The new update brings an option that allows users to check out emojis in categories.

On top of that, the latest version of Telegram allows its users to tap and hold an emoji to give them a better look at it. It should give them a zoomed view of it before sending it. With this, they could prevent using the wrong emojis, which could lead to some misunderstanding.

Speaking of emojis, the new update also brings a new feature that lets users change the profile photos of their contacts into cute emojis.

What's New on Telegram Premium

On the other hand, Telegram Premium users are also getting their hands on new features. First off, they could now translate messages in one go.

Telegram notes "Premium users can now translate entire chats, groups, and channels in real-time." And doing so is pretty straightforward. Simply tap the "Translate" button on top.

But how much is Telegram Premium priced?

The messaging service is giving away up to 40% discount for a Premium subscription. Its users only have to opt for an annual tier, which now only retails for $39.99 a year.
