Samsung's latest smartphone has 30% flatter screens.

The flagship smartphone from Samsung finally arrives, and the S23 series is now available for pre-order on the company's website with three variants available, including the S23 Ultra for Business. One of the most striking changes for this smartphone release is its flatter screens that would help users use better on the device.

One of its most striking changes is the significantly flatter screens, and it is because of the added S Pen that arrived with the previous S20 but was not something that users appreciated with its curves.

Samsung's latest Galaxy Unpacked event debuted the flagship smartphone of the company, with the S23 series arriving with three variants for the world. The first one is the base version called the S23, the next is the S23+ which debuts the same specs as the base model but with a larger screen, and the maxed-out spec S23 Ultra.

The company's focus on the S23 series is its latest processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which claims that it is 30 percent faster than its S22 series. Moreover, the camera improvements include better night mode and zoom options, still centering on astrophotography.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is now available for Pre-Orders on the company's website and via retailers, with its base model starting at $799.99 with an instant $50 Samsung credit.

The Galaxy S23+ with the larger screen is available starting at $1,199, and the S23 Ultra debuts at $1,379.99 for the 256 GB variant. Both have instant $100 Samsung credit.

All smartphones are eligible for a free storage upgrade for this pre-order period.

The company's showcase also centered on one major remodel for the S23 series, and it is by reverting its screens to a flatter design, letting go of its curved applications. It claims that this release has 30 percent flatter screens to better accommodate the use of the S Pen, and also deliver a better display for its users.

Samsung's Galaxy S Series

The Unpacked event from Samsung always takes place early in the year, and it greets customers and fans with the latest flagship smartphone from the company, along with other tech available. In the past years, the company announced its Galaxy S series' top devices on schedule, with its predecessor, the Galaxy S22.

The main features present on the smartphone are its powerful cameras that center on significant night mode improvements, as well as astrophotography, and various options for macro and micro shots.

The S series got paired with the S Pen since the Galaxy S21, also the time when Samsung announced its discontinuation of the Note Series.

Samsung's main flagship series is already the Galaxy S after ending with the Galaxy Note 20 in 2020, with its focus on business smartphones applying to the Galaxy S21. The latest Samsung S23 smartphones deliver the latest there is to the company's development, alongside a flagship chip from Qualcomm and improved screens, now available for pre-order.
