Twitter Blue checkmark is now more affordable if you opt to get the annual subscription of the Blue service thanks to its new discount.
Web users could get up to 12% off, while Apple iPhone users are in for a treat with a higher discount.
Twitter Blue Check is Now Cheaper
Since Elon Musk became the Chief Twit, the billionaire tech entrepreneur focused on the Blue subscription service of the giant social network.
The Twitter boss relaunched it and made it more attractive, as per a report by The Verge. The paid service now gives its subscribers the much-coveted blue "verified" check marks, lesser ads within the platform, and other paid benefits.
Twitter Blue also brings long-requested functions that let users undo their tweets.
So if you want to boast a blue check verification beside your Twitter name, you only have to subscribe to the Blue subscription service of the giant social network.
And now, to attract more subscribers to the subscription service, the annual plan comes with a discount.
The monthly pricing of the paid service for web users normally costs $8. Apple iOS folks have to pay a little higher due to the 30% Apple tax. So Twitter asks iPhone users to pay $11 monthly to get their hands on features like the undo button.
However, it is worth noting that Twitter requires users to verify their phone numbers to get the highly-coveted Blue check mark. On top of that, the social network will still have to review your profile before it gets verified.
Wired notes in its story that verified users get a couple of benefits, including prioritization of their tweets.
The tech giant says that "Tweets from verified users will be prioritized." It means that their replies will be on top of the thread, and their tweets could easily be searched.
Twitter Blue Subscription Discount
So you may now get verified on Twitter for cheaper pricing thanks to the new annual subscription discount for the Twitter Blue service. It gives web users up to 12% off to access features like blue verification checks, undo tweets, and other paid functions.
On the other hand, The Verge notes in its story that Apple iPhone users could get their hands on the annual subscription service for roughly 36% cheaper.
Given the new discount, an annual Blue subscription for web users now only costs $84, down from its typical pricing
of $96 per year. It automatically saves you at least 12%.
If Twitter users with iPhones subscribe via the web, they could get at least 36% of their usual annual pricing.
