"The technology RayNeo has developed will set the bar for future innovations in wearable AR," said TCL RayNeo CEO Howie Li.
He added that the new RayNeo X2 is their latest frontier of AR glasses.
Another thing that makes TCL's new wearable interesting is that it is AR glasses with a conventional design.
Although it looks very simple, its advanced features are not compromised.
These functionalities include smart navigation, assistant features, a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor, and auto-translation capability.
RayNeo X2 Lets You in on Gossips
The US Sun's journalist, Tatiana Louder, got to try the new TCL RayNeo X2 AR glasses.
Among the features she highlighted is the capability of the wearable to translate languages.
She said that the new wearable shows a live translation right across the user's eyes in real-time.
Thanks to this, users will be able to know if individuals if other individuals are gossiping about them.
However, there's one problem. TCL Global PR Manager Dongyao Nie explained that the new RayNeo X2 also detects the voices of other individuals, even if they are not in front of you.
This cannot be very pleasant since even people three meters away from you can be included in the live translation.
As of writing, Nie calls out developers to help them improve the new wearable.
"Maybe some of them will create innovative features for us," said Dongyao.
In the first quarter of 2023, TCL already allowed developers to try the new RayNeo X2 before it was unveiled at CES 2023.
This means that if TCL creates new versions of the wearable or integrates new features, developers who can make contributions will be the first to test them.
Aside from the new RayNeo X2 AR glasses, other advanced products are also being introduced at CES 2023.
Recently, the new Razer Leviathan V2 Pro Soundbar that can track users' movements was unveiled.
Samsung's new AI-powered oven, which livestreams food, was also introduced.
