Get ready, trainers! The Twinkling Fantasy event is coming to "Pokémon GO," bringing with it a host of Dragon- and Fairy-type Pokémon, as well as the debuts of Mega Salamence and Shiny Dedenne.
NintendoLife reports that from Jan. 10 at 8:00 am to Jan. 16 at 10:00 pm (EST), players can participate in Raid Battles and collect exclusive eggs, as well as take advantage of new event bonuses and featured attacks.
Watch Out for the Coolest Pokemon and Events
During the event, players can encounter wild Bagon, Clefable, Clefairy, Dedenne, Deino, Dratini, Goomy, Jigglypuff, Marill, Noibat, Ralts, Togetic, and Vibrava, with shiny variants available for some. In addition, completing Field Research tasks will also grant encounters with Bagon, Clefairy, Dedenne, Dratini, and Goomy, with shiny variants available.
The Twinkling Fantasy event also features a new Collection Challenge, which offers rewards such as 50 Salamence Mega Energy, a Charged TM, and a Fast TM upon completion.
Get ready for an exciting lineup of Raids during the upcoming Twinkling Fantasy event in "Pokémon GO!" From Jan. 10 to Jan. 16, players can participate in One-Star, Three-Star, Five-Star, and Mega Raids featuring Axew, Deino, Jigglypuff, Marill, Dedenne, Druddigon, Mawile, Zekrom, and Mega Salamence, all with shiny variants available. Don't miss out on the opportunity to catch these powerful Pokémon and add them to your collection.
Any Zekrom caught between Jan. 10 at 10:00 am and Jan. 18 at 10:00 am (EST) will learn the featured attack Fusion Bolt, an Electric-type move with 90 power in Trainer Battles and 140 power in Gyms and Raids.
Event bonuses during the Twinkling Fantasy include double XP for catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent throws, additional Candy, and an increased chance for Candy XL for trainers level 31 and above catching Pokémon with these throws. 'Pokémon GO' Community Day
The next Pokémon GO Community Day event is just around the corner, and this time it's a Classic Community Day featuring Larvitar. On Jan. 21, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (EST), players can expect increased spawns of Larvitar as well as the chance to catch a shiny Larvitar.
During the event, there will also be triple-catch XP and three-hour lures. Don't miss out on the chance to catch this rare and powerful Pokémon, and stay tuned for further details on the event.
In addition, the Community Day event will feature 3x Catch XP, and the exclusive move Smack Down for Tyranitar, which can be obtained by evolving a Pupitar during the event or up to two hours afterward.
