The new HOLON Mover is considered to be the world's first autonomous mover designed for automotive standards.
Benteler's automotive brand specifically designed it for public usage.
"Our mover is an answer to social megatrends: Urbanization, climate change, demographics - mobility needs to change," said Kollmeier.
He added that the new HOLON Mover could solve traffic problems across the world by providing a safe, comfortable, emission-free, and inclusive passenger transportation experience.
Marco further stated that the arrival of the new HOLON Mover creates a new dimension of smart and sustainable mobility that complements private and public passenger transport.
HOLON Mover's Features
Unlike other public transpo vehicles, the new HOLON Mover combines public and private experiences for passengers.
Designed to accommodate up to 15 passengers, this new autonomous car ensures that people can still find comfort even when traveling with strangers.
"Our autonomous movers are accessible by design. Everybody should feel welcome here," said the automotive company via its official website.
HOLON also ensured that it has the necessary high-tech features for autonomous driving. The vehicle's advanced cameras, lidars, sensors, and algorithms allow it to reach Level 4 autonomous driving.
Aside from high-tech functionalities and comfortable design, the automaker ensures that its new HOLON Mover is sustainable.
With its 110 kWh battery capacity, the vehicle can reach a range of 180 miles while being zero-emission.
