Climate activist Greta Thunberg and controversial social media personality Andrew Tate have buzzed the Internet with their epic Twitter spat.
Tate posted a tweet on Tuesday, Dec. 27, tagging Thunberg about his 33 cars. He boasted that he could send a complete list of his car collection and their respective carbon emissions if she sent her email address.
The young activist clap backed the 36-year-old's tweet that the Twitter realm has been considered one of the most savage burns online.
"Yes, please do enlighten me. Email me at smalld***energy@getalife.com," Thunberg said in a tweet that has garnered 234 million views, 517,000 retweets, and 3.3 million likes.
However, it is worth noting that the Thunberg-Tate saga does not end here. In fact, it was only the beginning of something that has completely stunned the Twitter verse.
Pizza Box
Tate, who was banned from most social media platforms due to his misogynistic comments and was later reinstated to Twitter, attempted to take the last laugh by posting a 2-minute video rant 10 hours after Thunberg's clap back.
Unfortunately, it appears that he did not succeed in stealing the last laugh. Romanian authorities arrested him and his brother Tristan Tate for human trafficking allegations.
According to speculations, his online feud with Thunberg may have led to his arrest because of a tiny detail in his tiny video: pizza box.
The box was labeled "Jerry's Pizza," a Romanian restaurant chain. The authorities reportedly waited to confirm if Tate and his brother were in Romania. Internet users claim the feud may have tipped them off into arresting the brothers.
"Romanian authorities needed proof that Andrew Tate was in the country so they reportedly used his social media posts. His ridiculous video yesterday featured a pizza from a Romanian pizza chain, Jerry's Pizza, confirming he was in the country," civil rights attorney Alejandro Caraballo claimed in a tweet.
However, another coincidence makes the story even crazier. Caraballo noted that the council of Europe, through the Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA), implored Romania to prosecute human traffickers effectively.

Greta Takes the Last Laugh
The young Nobel Peace prize nominee appeared to have taken the last laugh after Tate's arrest. She tweeted," this is what happens when you don't recycle your pizza boxes." A Twitter user responded, "as a climate activist, you aren't setting a great example by that much burning." Her clap back is now one of the most liked tweets of all time, with around 3.3 million accounts that liked her response.
