New Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO Sets Leaked for 2023 Release

Sonic the Hedgehog fans may have more to look forward to in 2023 with the leaked release of several new LEGO sets. According to the German LEGO site Promo Bricks and Brick Clicker, five sets will be released in August of next year.

The sets include a 292-piece set for $29.99, a 376-piece set for $39.99, a 388-piece set for $49.99, a 615-piece set for $59.99, and an 802-piece set for $99.99. These sets are expected to represent different levels that Sonic fans will recognize and will reportedly be able to be connected to create an expansive course.

As first reported by CBS-owned Comicbook, five different sets have appeared online, along with information on their piece counts and pricing. However, we are still determining what these sets will look like. Additional Sonic LEGO sets may be released in addition to these, although this has yet to be confirmed.

It's worth noting that the details of these LEGO sets have yet to be officially confirmed. Still, the producer of Sonic Frontiers recently teased that there was more to come for Sonic the Hedgehog fans in 2023. With a roadmap already in place for the game, these LEGO sets could be part of what's in store for fans.

A Look Closer

Also, according to Brick Clicker, each set will represent a particular level portion that may be combined with others. The LEGO Ideas Set 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone previously included a matching build with Technic Pins and recordings, allowing multiple sets to be joined to form a more significant level.

Furthermore, the same source tells us that there should be a significant difference between the comparable LEGO Super Mario kits, which should excite even adult LEGO enthusiasts. In contrast to the Nintendo game world, the LEGO Sonic sets will include standard minifigures, making collecting the sets and individual characters even more appealing.

Additionally, Promo Bricks reported that there may also be a set of Lego BrickHeadz released in 2023. However, this information could not be verified as confidently as the details about the five leaked LEGO sets.

LEGO sets have proven to be popular among fans of various franchises, and it's not surprising to see the addition of Sonic the Hedgehog sets to the lineup. With no official word on what these sets will look like or what levels they will represent, fans will have to wait for further confirmation before getting too excited.
