There have been rumors about a mid-generation upgrade for the Nintendo Switch for as long as it has been available, with most referring to it as the Switch Pro, according to a past report from Tech Times.

Nintendo fans anticipated a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which debuted on Nintendo WiiU and Nintendo Switch at the same time in March 2017.
