Elon Musk to Take Legal Action against Jack Sweeney for Tracking Private Plane—Still Skimpy on Twitter Bans

A legal action is heavier than a Twitter ban, but there are still no new guidelines for it.

Elon Musk is not standing idly by the recent threat against himself and his family's safety, as he recently claimed that is will pursue legal action against Jack Sweeney for the recent tracking of the CEO's private plane. The top billionaire's concern centers on his family's privacy, especially after the incident where a stalker blocked his car from moving and later climbed onto its hood.

Despite this focus on legal action, there is still no information regarding a permanent ban or de-platforming for grievous actions such as Sweeney and the ElonJet account's recent fiasco on Twitter.

According to a tweet by the tech CEO, he is now on the verge of suing Jack Sweeney and his organizations for the recent fiasco he caused online and in person. In the recent revelation of Elon Musk, he said that the car where his son, X, was riding in, a "crazy stalker" tried to block it from moving and went as far as to jump on its hood.

Musk is now intent to bring this case against Sweeney and other conspirators in the recent incident, especially when the safety of his family was compromised by it.

This comes after Twitter and Chief Twit announced its new guidelines regarding its anti-doxxing policies present on the platform, one that reveals the live location of another person in real-time.

No Twitter Bans Yet for Jack Sweeney, ElonJet?

Presently, Sweeney's Twitter account remains suspended from the platform, with unknown duration of how long it would stay that way before the social media lifts this temporary action.

To date, there is still no conclusive action towards a permanent Twitter ban or de-platforming under the Musk-led social media, especially as yesterday also saw ElonJet's return to the platform after a temporary suspension.

Elon Musk's Free Speech on Twitter

In most cases, people resort to paparazzi and showbiz journalists to reveal the whereabouts of famous personalities, especially if they go to certain places for vacations or visit other locations. However, in some paramount cases, people resort to track, one that was popularized by the 19-year-old online personality, Jack Sweeney for his sleuth on Elon Musk.

Initially, the tech CEO did not pay much attention to this, as he let it happen, despite the previous live location tracking which he posted via Twitter.

Back when Musk first acquired Twitter, he talked about giving people the power of free speech, and in the new platform's focus, it is willing to take it to the "extreme." Of course, there are people who were skeptical about this, as this much freedom could make Twitter unruly, and bound to hurt one person or more, with it eventually happening on Chief Twit's latest case.

After an incident that threatened the safety of his family, with stalkers and fans flocking to the airport where Musk's private jet previously landed, he is now taking legal action against Sweeney and his organizations. And while a lawsuit is heavier than a Twitter ban, it still does not change the fact that there are no clear grounds for Musk's de-platforming of individuals who commits a massive invasion of others' privacy.
