The rumored 15.5-inch MacBook Air is expected to arrive early.
Ross Young, a reliable tech analyst, shared her predictions about the upcoming Apple portable laptop.
She said that the gadget maker would start the new MacBook Air panel production with a 15.5-inch display.
The enthusiasts further stated that this could happen as early as Q1 2023. Now, here's what her prediction means to consumers.
15.5-Inch MacBook Air Prediction
According to 9To5Mac's latest report, Ross claims that the new 15.5-inch MacBook Air could be launched by Apple this coming spring in 2023.
Young is not the only one who predicted the arrival of the new MacBook Air with a 15.5-inches screen.
Recently, the Display Supply Chain Consultants released its in-depth Quarterly Advanced IT Display Shipment and Technology report.
In this report, DSCC said that the new MacBook Air will arrive in 2023 alongside a new version of the Apple iPad.
If their predictions are true, then Apple consumers will have two MacBook Air options by 2023; the 15.5-inch and 13.6-inch versions.
Aside from these two, there could also be the smaller 12-inch MacBook Air. However, this smaller version is expected to arrive around the first quarter of 2024.
What to Expect From 15.5-Inch MacBook Air?
MacRumors reported that the upcoming MacBook Air with a larger display will still have the general design used on current Apple tablets.
This means that it will have a flat-edged design with the Force Touch keypad.
When it comes to the ProMotion display, the new 15.5-inch MacBook Air might not have this technology since this feature is exclusive to MacBook Pro models.
