Elon Musk: Twitter Files to Expose All Hidden Data on Social Media; Jack Dorsey’s Management has One Too?

Musk may not be the whistleblower on this, but he surely supports it.

Elon Musk supports Twitter Files and is a thread within the social media that exposes the different unknown events and actions by the previous management of the short word platform that it hid from the public.

Jack Dorsey, Twitter's co-founder and former CEO of the platform, joined in on the conversation and asked Chief Twit to expose it all without filter.

Chief Twit's tweet about the Twitter Files clearly shows that he supports this thread, something which caught the attention of the former CEO.

Here, Dorsey asked the current Twitter owner why to rely on these threads to uphold transparency and build trust, asking him to release unfiltered information regarding this for the world to know about. The Twitter co-founder then asked Musk to "Make everything public now," instead of the thread-style posts from Matt Taibbi.

Here, the Tesla and Twitter CEO replied that even Dorsey himself hid important data from the public, adding that some were deleted already. He further claimed that everything that his team would find would be available to the public as well.

The Twitter Files: What Is It All About?

The controversial thread by Matt Taibbi, which he dubbed the "Twitter Files," went public last week, and this was something that Musk's management did not stop, rather supported exposing the platform.

It talked about the many events in the platform that previous management allowed to happen, then kept it from the public, centering on deep connections and issues in the world.

Elon Musk and Twitter

The tech billionaire's focus on Twitter is to turn it into a decentralized and private platform that can do whatever it wants, and focus on free speech "to the extreme," with both sides being heard.

It does not matter what people post online under Elon Musk's leadership, as long as it does not violate any laws or Community Guidelines, it is good to go.

However, previous users who enjoyed the platform with the content moderation that it previously upheld did not like it one bit, with many people migrating to alternative apps or social networking sites.

The famous eccentric CEO wants to give the people power and ownership of the social media platform, something which belongs to them as it is the essence of these kinds of online spaces.

One of the recent displays of this power would be the Twitter poll that Musk started, asking about general amnesty for suspended or banned accounts, which resulted in reinstating these people.

It is unknown how much Chief Twit will uphold Twitter's transparency to the public, especially in his short time as its current leader.

Regardless, he is already putting in massive efforts to do so, especially in supporting threads that contain insider information and data about the company, centering on the previous management.

This does not exclude Jack Dorsey's leadership of the company, one which he managed for the longest time.
