Vivo iQOO 11 Launch Draws Near: Release Date, Design, Technical Specs, More

Here's what we know about "the king of gaming phones."

Vivo's upcoming iQOO 11 series finally reveals its new launch date after an initial delay.

The tech giant's new flagship phone models, iQOO 11 and mid-range iQOO Neo 7 SE were initially set to launch on Dec. 2. However, the company has decided to postpone the event due to the recent passing of the former general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Jian Zemin, according to Times Now. The move to postpone the event was made out of respect and to give the nation time to grieve.

As an update, iQOO Indonesia reveals in an Instagram post that the new launch date will be Dec. 8. Vivo will reportedly introduce the new flagship phones simultaneously in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.

What To Expect for Vivo's IQOO 11 Series

Vivo fans and tech enthusiasts are hyped for what the market has dubbed as "The king of gaming phones." According to News18, the iQOO 11 series will feature both the vanilla and the Pro versions to avoid any compromises in performance. The two versions will use both devices' new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

It is well known that the upcoming Xiaomi 13 and iQOO 11 phones will feature the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, which is said to deliver improved performance.

The pro model, however, will have an advantage over the vanilla version's display with a stunning 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 11 and iQOO Neo7 SE are currently up for pre-order in China.
