Xiaomi will have a launch event on December 1, where the Xiaomi 13 series will officially be announced. Ahead of the event, teasers say that the Xiaomi 13 could surpass the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max in terms of battery life.
Xiaomi Gets the Latest Android Skin, MIUI 14, with New Upcoming Xiaomi 13 Series
Xiaomi is expected to launch the latest flagship with MIUI 14, the latest Android skin. According to the story by Giz China, Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi, recently revealed many of the core specs of the whole series.
Lei Jun also said there is a lot o emphasis on battery life compared to battery capacity for the upcoming Xiaomi lineup. He added more to the upcoming lineup's grip, thickness, and width for the Xiaomi mobile phones.
Xiaomi 13 Series to Launch with a 4500mAh Battery with a Sleek Design
So far, the teasers reveal that the Xiaomi 13 series will come with a 4500mAh battery, and despite a decent battery, its grip, thickness, and width are still at low levels. This would ensure the devices get a good battery life and sleek design.
Regarding battery life, Lei Jun revealed the Xiaomi 13 battery life test results showing how it surpassed the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14. The Xiaomi 13 achieved a test value of 1.37 compared to the 1.28 of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14.
Lei Jun Encouraged the Xiaomi R&D Team to Achieve a Particular Goal
Lei Jun noted that his target is to be able to see just how the batteries of a mobile phone can work for two days. He was able to encourage the R&D team of Xiaomi to achieve this particular goal.
Other official teasers revealed other features of the upcoming Xiaomi, 13saying the flagship could come with a custom high-end OLED straight screen. However, the Pro version will come with a hyperbolic screen where only the visual of both displays are quadrilateral.
The New Device is Reportedly Easier to Hold Due to Its Measurements
The Xiaomi 13's top and side bezels measure just 1.61 mm, with the bottom bezel being a bit thicker at 1.81 mm. The thin bezels and center punch-hole together give the device a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio.
Lei Jun says the rear of the device has a four-curved surface while the front of the device is slightly 2.5D. Since the width of the device is just 71.5 mm, this makes the upcoming Xiaomi device easier to hold.

The Device Packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with LPDDR5X Memory and More
The model is also IP68 water resistant as a standard. This means it packs the highest dustproof and waterproof level of standards.
The Xiaomi 13 series is also expected to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, as fuirther detailed in an article by Notebook Check, and come with the latest gen LPDDR5X 8533Mbps memory along with a flash memory of UFS 4.0.
