Israel has finished testing its latest naval air defense system yet, and it is called the "C-Dome," derived from the "Iron Dome," which the country intends to use as its first line of defense on the waters. The defense system is one impressive technology from the Israeli government, particularly as it is not yet its most advanced aerial defense tech at the present.
The C-Dome will protect Israeli waters from external threats on its operations offshore, and also guard its natural gas and shipping lanes that center on its economy.
Israel's Iron Dome: Successful Test on Naval Air Defense System
Israel's Ministry of Defense announced via Twitter that it successfully tested its latest air defense system called the C-Dome, a naval variation of its existing "Iron Dome."
The C-Dome was aboard the INS 'Oz' from the Sa'ar 6 'Magen' Class Corvette on its test, seeing successful results in its test for its future naval operations.
According to Interesting Engineering, the original Iron Dome was a highly successful air defense system for the country, especially with its effort to defend the Gaza strip last year.
There was once an attack on Israel's Gaza strip, centering on a conflict that Israel faced, and its Iron Dome defense system blocked as much as 90 percent of the rockets which targeted the country.

One Powerful Defense Tech, But Not Yet Its Finest
Additionally, its Iron Dome is one fascinating technology as it centers on defending against threats coming from the skies and protecting its citizens and land from ambushes or attacks.
However, while it is one of its initial saviors, it is not the finest technology in Israel's defense Ministry, as there is still the Iron Beam, a laser defense system from the country.
Naval Operations and Defense Tech
Creating defense weapons and systems like these are not implications that countries or states are going to war, but it is more of a veil of protection that would be ready once there are complications or issues for all. The United States is one of the global leaders in defense technology, particularly in its naval defense in counteracting all types of threats, including the Chinese's hypersonic missiles.
Defense technology was denounced by some companies as it encourages war instead of helping stop it, but these protections are significant for different needs, particularly in getting ready for when it is needed.
There was also one device that may fit naval boats, centering on the RAPIDFire turrets that can take down a swarm of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles that comes to its proximity. It was developed by two companies, one from the United States, Nexler, and its partner, the French company, Thales, in a collaborative effort.
Israel's latest technology is a massive advancement towards its defense, centering on the Iron Dome to protect its naval operations and other aspects of the country from potential external threats. It will help the country in one of its most vulnerable spots, especially as aerial assaults on its open waters are something that is an ideal point to strike.
