Apple Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook spoke about one of the Steve Jobs life lessons that stuck with him the most in his recent interview.
The big boss of the Cupertino giant also revealed how much he values education, and how it has helped him in his giant task of leading the tech firm these days.
Apple CEO Tim Cook's Favorite Life Lesson from Steve Jobs
As per the latest report by 9to5 Mac, the Apple chief executive spoke with Brian Tong during the FIRST Inspire 2022 Gala. In their conversation, Cook shared some stuff that not most of us are not aware.
For instance, Cook revealed how his education has molded him, and how he keeps himself calm despite all the responsibilities.
The tech CEO also shared one of his favorite lessons from the late co-founder of Apple, Jobs. He revealed that his predecessor has taught him that "the joy is in the journey."
Cook admitted in the interview that he tends to think about what's coming next. Instead of being happy with what's in front of him.
"You know I always used to think about the next thing," the Apple boss admits. In turn, he "always sort of puts off happiness until the next thing occurs. And, of course, the next thing never occurs."
And looks like that Cook has been keeping this lesson to himself as he runs one of the largest firms in the world.
According to a report by Apple Insider, Cook took over the Cupertino giant back in 2011 after its late founder, Jobs, had died. It turns out that he has been running the tech firm while Jobs had to take care of his health.
Tim Cook and His Emphasis on Education's Value
The Apple boss shares that he spent his early years in a public school system. He also believes that education is like a foundation that helped him in how he now spearheads the tech giant.
The tech exec further credited education as "the great equalizer of the people. He explained that it essentially "gives everyone an equal chance."
So it looks like Cook has high regard for education. He also took the chance to thank his teachers and, of course, his parents.
