Samsung Plans Faster Android 14 Roll Out — Quicker Than Android 13?

Here's how Samsung plans to do it.

Samsung wants its Android 14 rollout to its various smartphone offerings, including its foldable, flagships, and mid-range devices, to be seriously quick.

Although the South Korean tech giant is proud of the faster arrival of the Android 13 update across its long list of devices, Samsung wants to improve it for the next version of the mobile software.

Given that, if you are a Samsung phone or tablet user, you might get your hands on Android 14 faster than previous versions.

Samsung Wants Android 14 Roll Out To Be Faster Than Previous Versions

As per the latest news story by 9to5 Google, Samsung is now boasting that it has dished out Android 13 to its devices as fast as the renowned tech giant could.

The phone maker brags that the speed of the Android 13 rollout across its devices has been "drastically reduced." The tech firm says it only took roughly 60 days or two months to bring Android 13 to its users.

Currently, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update has yet to roll out to its older tablets and midrange devices. But for its other budget-friendly and flagship offerings, the new mobile operating system update is now available.

But despite that, it looks like the phone maker wants to make the rollout quicker by next year.

The South Korean giant says that it plans to speed up the release of the next Android and One UI update, which is likely to be aptly referred to as "Android 14-based One UI 6."

With that said, the next update might take less than two months before it starts reaching the devices of the renowned phone maker.

The tech giant says it plans to "strengthen cooperation with Google." And besides that, it would also "actively listen to user feedback to continue to update One UI faster and with higher perfection."

Samsung's Android 13-Based One UI 5.0

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, Samsung has already released its Android 13-based One UI 5 to its older mid-range flagship killer, the Galaxy A52.

The release on its mid-range phone comes shortly after the update arrived on its all-new foldable offerings, including the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

It is worth noting that the newer A-series phone, the A53, already sports the latest Android 13 update a week before its predecessor received it.

On top of that, Samsung says that the new update has been rolled out to its other flagship devices, such as the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20.
